Cub Scouting is the family-centered program for grades K-5. Troop 5391 is the girls-only, youth-led Scouts BSA path for eligible older youth.

Visit on Monday
Cub Scouting and Troop 5391 meet Mondays at 6:00 p.m. at Madison Christian Church, 1871 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650.
Join a regular meeting
A first visit follows the normal meeting format so prospective Scouts and families can experience the program as it usually runs.

Grades K-5
Cub Scouting in Morgan County
For children in grades K-5, Cub Scouting combines grade-level adventures, projects, outdoor activities, and service with active family participation.
Pack 5391 and Pack 91 remain separate official units. Locally, they meet together and share leadership.
Girls in Scouts BSA
Troop 5391
Troop 5391 gives girls increasing responsibility as they plan activities, camp, serve, explore merit badges, and develop leadership.
After You Choose A Program
Your first month, made simpler
Scouting has its own calendar, forms, uniforms, and vocabulary. Local leaders will help your family take these steps in order, so you do not need to figure out everything before the first meeting.

Connect with local leadership
Save the program contact and review the public calendar. After registration, unit leaders provide the family GroupMe link for routine communication.

Use the current forms
A leader will identify the applications and health forms needed for the activities ahead. Use current blank forms from official sources and return completed records directly to the designated leader; do not upload them to the public website.

Get uniforms and gear in the right order
Talk with a leader before purchasing a uniform, handbook, or camping equipment. They can explain what is needed now, what the program provides, and what can wait until a later activity.

Choose how your family will participate
After a family decides to join, the parent completes the official Scouting America registration for the selected unit. Local leadership then confirms the registration and provides next steps.

Participate alongside your child
Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend events, support pack activities, and volunteer. Cub Scouting is designed as a family-centered program.
Troop 5391 Families
Support a youth-led program
Adults create safe conditions and provide guidance without taking over the work Scouts can learn to do. Troop leadership can explain transportation, equipment, and volunteer needs.
